For a truly unique experience arrange a private nature retreat with Fergus Beeley, a wildlife expert who has been making award winning wildlife films, many with Sir David Attenborough, for more than 25 years. Fergus has chosen Hotel Endsleigh because it is so magically peaceful and tranquil, set on the banks of the beautiful River Tamar, surrounded by ancient woodland and meadow grassland. Fergus will lead quiet walks to explain how to connect with nature, whilst pointing out the less obvious and the more unusual wildlife here such as otters and kingfishers. Fergus will also draw on informal practices used in meditation and mindfulness to help people connect with the beauty of nature, even in winter. The evenings include private screenings of wildlife films produced by Fergus and presented by Sir David Attenborough.
From £620 per person, based on two people sharing. Including two nights accommodation, breakfast, picnic lunches, dinner and Fergus as your guide.
Available from the 1 November 2016–28 February 2017 excluding the festive period. The Nature Retreats are great for families with children, best over the age of 6.
