Beginning his career in the late 1970’s, Gorton has worked upwards from Commis chef, to establishing himself as a Michelin decorated celebrity chef. He has run numerous prestigious restaurants across Britain, including the Hilllaire in London, The Carved Angel in Devon, and spreading his wings even further afield, The Jamin Restaurant in Paris.

His culinary awards and achievements include a Michelin Star, Egon Ronay Service and Care Award, Good Food Guide Restaurant of the Year Award, and a Financial Times best in category restaurant.
