At the end of January, the hotel will close for its annual refurbishment. The most profound change this year will be a state of the art new kitchen. During most of this time (14 February-7 March) the hotel will be able to reopen but with a simpler food offering.
In the mornings we will serve a buffet style breakfast in the Main House. A simple light lunch menu with a very good homemade soup and Afternoon Tea will be set out in the Library each day as usual.
Dinner on the other hand, will be completely different. Instead of individual reservations and the traditional menu in the Restaurant, we will instead serve a set three course dinner each evening in the Stables. This will be served on one large table at 7.30pm in the style of a dinner party. The room will be decorated beautifully with twinkling tea lights and outside in the courtyard we will light the fire pit to create the feeling of one of our private parties.
