Painting Watercolour Skies
Tuesday 12 June, 10.30-4pm
We will look at various techniques for creating skies, from the peaceful to the dramatic, summer blue to leaden grey. We will think about types of clouds and how to paint them, sunrise and sunset, and perspective in the sky.
The workshop will follow the usual pattern of sketching and exercises in the morning and a painting in the afternoon.
I want you to create your own painting, not simply follow a demonstration. So bring your own ideas and reference materials and I will help you at every stage as you need.
