The Art of the Antarctic

Iain Grant spent 17 years as the senior medical officer for the British Antarctic Survey, visiting the Antarctic several times. It is a stunning part of the world with incredible scenery and inquisitive, unique wildlife.
Iain will follow the history of exploration from the days of Captain Cook, to the contemporary scientific work, using artworks to describe and illustrate the environment and historic events, alongside photographs of modern day Antarctica.
