We are looking for a reliable Porter who can handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, whilst delivering great customer service. The Porter will be responsible for greeting guests as they check-in and out, responding to a variety of requests and assisting the Housekeeping, Restaurant and maintenance teams.

Great customer service and a smart appearance are essential for this very hands-on and physically demanding role. You must have the motivation to work alone.

Main duties include

– Greeting and assisting guests, colleagues and visitors to the hotel.
– Collection and delivery of guest luggage in a timely manner.
– Guide guests to their room and advise about amenities.
– Deliver messages, packages and flowers.
– Respond to guest requests and queries regarding the local area.
– Perform other tasks as assigned by the management.

A drivers licence is essential for this role.

This is an excellent opportunity to share and develop your skills and learn from our talented senior chefs. You will be highly creative. Key responsibilities include:
– Production of fresh seasonal a la carte desserts, afternoon teas and banqueting and pastries.
– Working on menu development.
– Assisting with ordering and controlling of stock.
– Adhering to hygiene and health and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate will be confident with running the pastry section have a NVQ Level 2 and 3 or similar and previous experience in fine dining establishments.

£23,000 dependant on experience + approximately £1,500 in gratuities per annum.

We will teach you all aspects of great table management and train you in wine and coffee service.
